tıpkı bir gökkuşağı

And for once, and on purpose, I've planned. I've planned so that I started writing this note over a month ago. Mainly because the mind is feeble, and mine even more so,  and I don't want to skip a thing when saying my so longs: to the view of the Sultanahmet &
Agia Sofia every morning as I caught my ferry to work; to the lights of the Galata Tower coming through my window; to the sounds of a gipsy clarinet every other tuesday evening; to the nights, like the one that will end the year in Sanaçlar park; to mornings, like the one in the "secret place" that will start this year; to running down hills after class on Friday nights knowing that after opening a door I'd be sure to find friendly faces and, if I was lucky, maybe some food; to Bety and her everlasting horniness; to Monday breakfast's, late night movies and morning sigara at home; to the view of a Ranger Hat perched somewhere in a wardrobe; to the continuous cries of "Baby"; to a great last Sunday walk from Cihangir to Besiktas; to friends, to friends of friends, to CS'rs, to students, to Erasmus stds, to tango dancers, to locals and foreigners, after all: we all are Istanbul's Children, and we Are a rainbow ....
