Alemania: Haditas y un bosque encantado

Just a few days stay in Germany. A quick cross through Constanz Lake and then we head toward the French border. Days of rain await for me, not the best for a cyclist but the same rain gave this traveler (osea este pechito) a chance to experience mysterious and dark lands the way they are supposed to be, valleys covered in mist, woods that seem to go on forever as they hide in the clouds, dark roads and darker forest: sad and gloomy feelings fill me.... enchanted place. Im missing a pen now, maybe an elf took it

Days of wondering here in Switzerland: wonder at the landscape, the panoramic views, the color that change as the cold front comes in and specially wonder at the people i've met along the way: spent a few days with an artist I met in Venice, wonderfull ideas and ways to look at the world: flowers are beautiful he tells me, but they dont move, people are beautiful and they can dance, they are truly beautiful....





His art, his ideas, fill me and prompt me to a new ride: head face first against the rain, of course the rains beats me but "everything happens for a reason": I ask for refuge at a farmer's house and find the most lovely family who takes me as a true guest: share dinner, breakfast, and even lunch the next day as I had to peel away from their house. They are true travelers, they have seen half the world and leave me as a task to see the other half for them.





Then a rendezvous long to come: meeting some friends I made over a horrible 24hour+ bus ride in Peru. Beautiful girls full of energy and a fresh look on this world: one of them (white as the snow) talking with my so loved "charapa" accent, the other, a lovelier tourist guide no one could ask for, and the third one, making faces with no care in the world. Remembrances of the jungle, the sun, spices, fruits and language...

I say tonight my goodbyes to Switzerland with a bittersweet flavor for leaving but making some connections I hope to keep for the longest and a day....

Great time in Luzern, even had a day of climbing a small mountain and get the fantastic view you see above: the Alpes, the Urals, the lakes, Switzerland from above...
I get to ride tomorrow again, start heading toward Zurich and then Konstanz lake, three more days in this small Huaraz and then head for Germany, we'll see, we'll see....

Suiza

A true paradise for cyclist this little country is, kms and kms of roads with no vehicles. As for traffic, just another cyclist coming the other way every so often and the river running beneath the road, a caring companion. Big gorges, snow covered peaks, huge lakes, the views I get from this place are sometimes from a fantasy book. Looking back, it would`ve been a sin not to come here as a cyclist...
I get to know more about the history here, the Sandoz` took me into their house and made some good friends along the way who hint me here and there in the differences in our cultures. If anything at all, I know now where to go for a Kebab at 0145 in Luzern ;)

Garda and Verona

Garda and Verona. Beautiful two stops before I start heading out of Italy. Peaceful Garda was the best medicine I could've asked for, with its mountans that finish on the water which were a sight for sore eyes and on top, the Mamapacha gave me  such a weather, thanks mama!!

Verona? well, Verona is Dante. y gladiadores,. y centuriones. y decuriones, y Romeo & Julieta y amores eternos.

Ultimi giorni nalla Italia: Sabato latinoamericano a Siena e Lunedi parto per Lecco e presto per la Svizzera, St Mortiz e gli Alpi. Freddo, neve, casino!!!!!

Gemona

Days of relaxing and catching up with friends: bambini, old coworkers and a goddamn cold. I was out for 4 days in bed!! Such a rare thing I get ill like that. But maybe i needed the rest, maybe I grew an inch or two (my mom would agree with me)

But got to search for castagne, learn grammar with ioiò, and watch some DragonBall GT, nothing to complain here, nothing at all....

Birthdays

current odometer reading: 1650km... the 1900´s are getting close and so is the time to celebrate birthdays
If you are not my sister I'd probably forget your birthday (I only remember hers b/c she reminds a day prior) but as my odometer reaches your birth year, why dont we celebrate together? I promise to stop for a quick drink or at least a cup of café...
Just leave me your birth year here and poison of choice :) cant promise ill find it but ill be thinking about it!!!!!!!!!!
