Florencia

I wont go into the immigrant question as a political question deserves a discussion and not just a one sided blablabla, that this will be, but lets not say immigrants but travellers. Travelers and tourist. the difference? big. I think. And i make time to write about it as I still get the silly question: arent YOU a tourist also? , but after a 4h30min trek up Mt. Pilatus all covered in sweat, the question, coming from someone just stepping out of the climatized funiculare, hurts a bit....
He might be a tourist , im not. not that day at least... and its not the sweat or the dirt, its not a whos the dirtiest? contest , but lets go to the differences:
a tourist takes only, a traveller exchanges. We both take photos, souveniers, experiences but what does a traveller give in return? (in my case: mainly sweat)  but we do also share stories, adventures, music, food, etc etc... Its not just tasting a dish, but taking the recipe with you home to show someone else, maybe cooking something onsite for the locals to try, its not just putting some new music on your mp3 but knowing where does it come from, learning even the silly steps that go along, and on plus, leaving your music behind, not only meeting some great guy but having him over to your place some years later.. and thats how i come about here....
Some years ago I met a true traveller, a superb vagabonda who inspired me on this (?) year long journey. So not just sightseeing but making life-long memories.
and sitting at her recently purchased flat today, i can say: thanks Cami. Thank you for everything, y espero la panza mejore ;)
