Köyceğiz

Chance (if it exists) brings me to Koycegiz at exactly 10:40, right when a group of cyclist were on their way to breakfast...
luck (if there is such a thing) made me take a wrong turn and run into them...
Destiny (the one I make) told me to ask them to join them on their journey

Koycegiz is a sweet water lake with an entrance to the sea so the water is a bit karisik (mixed) as they like to call it ;) 2 mountains choke the lake by the entrance into a narrow stream but the power of the water sips from these arms to make fertile valleys that seem to climb into the mountains themselves

green and blue
A blue that brings all sort of fish and even turtles and the special blue crab...
A green that rejoices on having all different tones of it, and rejoicing on the little snipets of different colour that are its fruit...

Fruit that was to be picked along the way: figs, pomegranates, peaches, pears, apples... I even saw some banana trees! no bananas though :(

A once around the lake:

*West to feast on the fruits there....
*South up the mountain to enjoy the view...
*East, down the mountain and into a mud bath...
* North, into a boat that will make us cross the entrance to the lake and make our way into our camp for the night...

Yet another Turkish beauty

chai bahcesi

el futuro capo; ese q mira con atención cada jugada en cada mesa y de cuando en cuando se atreve a sugerir una movida;
el capo frustrado; ese q hace casi lo mismo pero a cada sugerencia es mandado a callar;
el mandadero; ese q con su bici va y viene, llevando y trayendo encargos desde cualesquier esquina del pueblo hasta y desde aquí;
el amiguero; ese que va de mesa en mesa saludando a sus "tíos";
el niño bueno; ese que viene en busca de su papá por encargo de su mamá;
el futuro dueño; ese que ayuda desde ya con las mesas y los pedidos;

magia

che magia!
for a reason too long to be written down here I'm setting my tent in a tea garden tonight. A nice, rather quite big garden when I came but now, at 22:45, the place seems to be shrinking in space as more and more people come in. Less space but the energy is ever expanding: kids running around; a swing that doesn't stop swinging; grown married men playing cards (all trying to cheat each other); a man who  came with his wife hasn't stop pampering the mother-in-law; kids cursing, the waiter telling on them; two other kids almost got in a fight, the fathers ignore them, the mothers start arguing,... the magic of a small town, doing stuff outdoors together, if not together at least in the same area..
if I could only see auras... I wonder if I'd be seeing one huge (purple) one.  I like purple :)

23:30, three more ladies come in to share limonata
23:45, someone screams at some table, someone else gets up, runs into his car and takes off. The waiter follows on his bike. The place empties.
Time for me to go to sleep
